About Disciples of Dirt

Disciples of Dirt (DoD) is a community of riders who love getting dirty—on bikes and on trails. Based in Oregon’s Southern Willamette Valley, our 190+ members are passionate about building, maintaining, and riding the best singletrack in the Pacific Northwest.
For almost 40 years, DoD has logged tens of thousands of volunteer hours maintaining trails in Oakridge and at Carpenter Bypass (Whypass)—helping make both areas premier mountain biking destinations. We’re proud to now partner with the Oakridge Trail Alliance to continue that legacy of stewardship and collaboration.
Looking ahead, we’re channeling that same trail-building energy into the growing urban trail systems in Eugene and Springfield, creating close-to-home riding opportunities for all ages and abilities. From city singletrack to backcountry flow, DoD is shaping the future of mountain biking in Lane County—one trail and one dig day at a time.
