It's on!

We need to finish what we started.  9am Saturday only.  At the Hardesty Trailhead along Hwy 58 just short of mile post 21.

The many volunteers working on this project have done a marvelous job!  Thank you all very much.  A couple of hikers that happened by on Saturday called us Angels.  The Devil is in the details.  A bunch more Angels are needed to finish off this stage of the makeover.

On the agenda.  Polish off a couple central spots on Eagles Rest and the turnpike on Goodman.  After that, the gravel chute needs to be pulled and the area rehabbed.

The weather forecast is favorable.  If we can get yet another nice turnout, we can get these unfinished areas taken care of.

Kevin and Ben will be running the show this time around.

I was in Portland last weekend so I missed joining y'all for yer hard work during Round 2. But I'll be there on Saturday this weekend to pay up some dues and to help this trail. I'm stoked to see this work getting done as well as proud to be a part of it! C'mon friends, let's put the bow on this package. Thanks to all who've turned out during the past two G/ER trailwork weekends!

I'm going to miss this one, since I can only get away on Sundays these days. If I get some clear marching orders I can solo a bit on Sunday if that would be helpful....

Hopefully someone that attends Saturday can give an accurate update as to what needs to be done after their efforts.  I won't be there because of a commitment prepping Crawfish for the following weekend.

@Davey.  I like that expression. "put a bow on it"

---UPDATE---

Spoke too soon. Seems like a friend is coming into town for la fin de la semina. Probably won't be there. Sorry folks.

I'll very likely be there and will likely be riding the North Shore/North Shore Tie trail afterwards.

Anyone is welcome to join me on the ride as well. I'll likely be just cruising having done the trailwork before.

Hope we can rally some troops for the final effort out there on Goodman's/Eagles. And for your efforts, I'll let you give Davey a swift kick-in-the-pants. What more could you want?

See you mugs Saturday.....

Here's one more warm body to throw into the breach! I had to work last weekend, but now I'll get my due.

Hoping for not shi**y weather and a late rush of dirt worshiping trail stewards to join in and complete this phase.

Looking forward to a productive day out there with you all,

 Randy
